So yeah, the video isn’t up yet…

As you’ve probably noticed, it’s been a few days since I posted the update about our Garrys Mod Combat Deathmatch Uber Fight video, and it’s still not out. There are two main reasons for this:

1. School has started again. Pretty self-explanatory.

2. Ambushsabre is away until Monday as far as I know, and he recorded the clips. I have absolutely no way of accessing them until he gets back.

So there’s been a slight delay on the movie. However, I’ll try to get something up onto the site until we get that video ready to post.

New Garry’s Mod Video On the Way

Hi, it’s Erik again. within a few days we’ll be releasing a new video made in Garry’s Mod called GMod Arena Deathmatches (or something like that). In this video, six fighters battle to the death to see which one of them is the most skilled with a crowbar. As kind of a teaser, here are some profile pics of the fighters and one of the arena (which is a map not made by us in any way whatsoever). We forgot to take a pic of one of the fighters, but it’s a Combine Elite.

The end of the summer season

…is near. With this in mind, I chose I dark yet light theme to start the transition into winter. Its similar to the last one, but more sophisticated. If you have any comments concerning the theme or anything else, feel free to post. Enjoy!

WHY HELLO THERE

Hello, faithful So Much Wasted Time readers. I’m PsychoSidious (a.k.a. Erik) and I guess I’m now a co-author of this blog. I’ll post here when I have any news about movies/podcasts/anything remotely creative that I’m involved in. On that topic, a movie that I made with Devman is up on the new Movies page! It’s called Stealth Amazing. Everybody go watch it. Right now. Okay, that’s all the news I have to post for now.

Note, I wasn’t the only one talking here. For some reason, xfire wasn’t picking up on my friends voice. Odd. Anyway, I filmed this in gmod using xfire and on the map rp_hometown_1999. Anyway, the thing is going to be a slideshow depicting how a women awakes to find a corpse following her around town all day. And odd idea, I know, but one I’m proud of having. Wait, what?

Every day I check the wonderful comic of Xkcd, which is a comic focused on technical humor. However, whenever I send my friends the link and tell them to start reading it, they never do. So, with that in mind, I’m going to post the funniest ones (to me) here, hence the name “landmarks” (for those wondering, this is completely legal, as the comics are under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License.)

The window’s gamer’s ubuntu experiment

I just got compiz (copsition effects…ala desktop cube) and awn window manager (bar…ala mac os X) installed on my ubuntu system, and man does it look great. So I’ve decided to take a day (today, sunday) and not boot into windows at all. All my games are in windows, some of which I play quite a lot. I want to see how much I like ubuntu, and how I handle being away from my games for a *whole* day. I hope I can make it (/sarcasm).
