So by now your wondering what this blog is about. Well, its really about a guy who has way to much time on his hands and decided to try to blog. And yes, I will be transferring to my own domain soon.

GameDev.net, a site I gather to much joy from browsing, has gone down and hasn’t come back. The ETA for site revival was supposed to be later yesterday, but yesterday turned into today somehow. Funny how that works.

On the topic of open-source, The Battle For Wesnoth has released verion 1.4.2. Go check it out at wesnoth.org.
The indie game The Ion Adventures has just released its first trailer, and by look of it, its going to be a very impressive game.
The game portal has not reached its end yet it would seem. “There’ll be more Portal, for sure,” said Lombardi. “But the details of that, to be honest, we’re still working out.” And, “more Portal is definitely on the way.” Thanks to x-play for getting this info out of the co-creator of the hit game.
